In 1978 Karen Buckey bought an existing natural foods store in Webster Groves and recreated it to her own exacting standards, ensuring its success. Located in an old historic building this store has the wonderful charm and friendly, personal atmosphere of the antiquated neighborhood grocer's of the past.
Business success found The Natural Way responding to the needs of the community and opening a second store in West County in 1990, followed by high demand from the ever growing population of health conscious consumers, a third store was established in Fenton in 2000. These two stores, though smaller than their parent store, are perfect for individuals making the transition to a healthier lifestyle, and expanding the healthy products market further into the Saint Louis area community.
The Natural Way is still growing and moving forward as in 2009 it has come under the ownership of Ari and Rimma Khagi. They will be sharing a new wealth of knowledge in this growing business, no doubt utilizing their pharmaceutical engineering and chemistry backgrounds to ensure the supplement brands The Natural Way continues to carry are always top of the line!
